Overview

Pairings provides wine and gourmet gift delivery where available. Delivery availability is confirmed at checkout based on the recipient’s address, product eligibility, delivery capacity, applicable regulations, and available service options.

Pairings prepares and coordinates orders based on the recipient address, selected product, wine or regulated product eligibility, delivery requirements, routing, fulfillment availability, and order timing. Available delivery options and estimated delivery dates are shown during checkout where applicable.

Because Pairings offers wine and gourmet gifts, delivery availability may vary by destination, product type, alcohol-related requirements, courier availability, applicable laws, and operational capacity.

Order Processing

Orders begin processing shortly after payment is confirmed. Customers requesting an address correction, recipient update, order change, gift-message change, delivery instruction update, or cancellation should contact customer service as early as possible.

Once preparation, product sourcing, customization, fulfillment, alcohol eligibility review, or delivery coordination has begun, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible.

During peak periods, holidays, high-volume delivery periods, or same-day delivery windows where available, order changes may require additional notice and may not be available.

Delivery Availability

Delivery is available only where Pairings can fulfill and deliver the selected product to the recipient address. Availability may depend on the delivery destination, selected gift, wine or regulated product eligibility, fulfillment capacity, courier capacity, product availability, and applicable delivery requirements.

The best way to confirm delivery availability is to enter the recipient address at checkout and review the delivery options shown for that order. If you are unsure whether a wine or gourmet gift can be delivered to a specific address, contact customer service before placing the order.

Same-Day Delivery Where Available

Same-day delivery may be available only for eligible gifts in select areas, subject to product availability, destination eligibility, order timing, delivery capacity, courier availability, and applicable regulations.

Same-day delivery is not available for every product or destination. If same-day delivery is important for your order, confirm the available delivery options at checkout or contact customer service before placing the order.

Delivery Timing

Delivery dates, delivery windows, courier timelines, and transit estimates shown at checkout or through order tracking are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery times unless expressly confirmed in writing by Pairings.

Exact delivery timing may vary due to routing, traffic, weather, recipient availability, building access, security procedures, courier performance, delivery volume, product availability, alcohol-related delivery requirements, and operational capacity.

Residential deliveries may occur throughout the available delivery day. Business, office, institutional, and managed-property deliveries are generally attempted during standard business hours where possible.

Delivery Completion

Deliveries do not require a signature unless otherwise stated or required due to product type, alcohol content, recipient location, age verification, delivery method, building policy, courier requirement, or applicable law.

Orders may be delivered directly to a recipient or accepted by a building representative, concierge, reception desk, security desk, front desk, mailroom, loading area, package room, or other building-approved receiving point where appropriate.

Once proof of delivery has been obtained, or once the order has been accepted by the recipient, building representative, reception desk, mailroom, concierge, security desk, front desk, package room, or other authorized receiving location, the order may be considered delivered.

Office, Building, and Managed Property Deliveries

Deliveries to offices, institutions, apartments, condominiums, hotels, hospitals, gated communities, campuses, managed properties, and similar locations may be completed through reception, mailroom, concierge, security, front desk, loading area, package room, or another building-approved receiving point.

Customers are responsible for providing complete delivery details, including company name, department, suite or unit number, recipient phone number, building instructions, access codes where appropriate, delivery hours, and any other information needed for delivery.

Pairings is not responsible for delays, loss, misplacement, refusal, or failure to notify the recipient after an order has been accepted by a building, property, receiving desk, concierge, mailroom, security desk, or other authorized receiving location.

Incorrect or Incomplete Address Information

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address at the time an order is placed.

  • Address changes must be requested promptly after ordering and before preparation, fulfillment, or delivery coordination begins.
  • Orders with incorrect or incomplete address information may be delayed, misdelivered, returned, cancelled, or treated as undeliverable.
  • Missing suite numbers, incorrect recipient names, incorrect phone numbers, inaccessible buildings, incomplete company names, or missing delivery instructions may affect delivery.
  • Refunds, replacements, credits, or re-delivery may not be available for orders affected by address errors, missing delivery details, incorrect recipient information, or incomplete delivery instructions.

Service Area Review

Some addresses may require additional review before fulfillment proceeds. This may apply to addresses near the edge of an available delivery area, addresses with alcohol-related delivery restrictions, remote or difficult-to-access locations, managed properties, or locations requiring special delivery coordination.

If an address requires additional delivery coordination, additional fees, substitution, order modification, or cancellation, customer service may contact the purchaser before fulfillment continues. If delivery cannot be completed to the address provided, the order may be modified, delayed, cancelled, or treated as undeliverable depending on the circumstances.

Undeliverable Orders

Orders may be considered undeliverable when delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect or incomplete address information, recipient unavailability, refused delivery, restricted access, unsafe conditions, failed age verification where applicable, ineligible delivery address, or circumstances outside our control.

  • Refunds may not be issued for undeliverable orders caused by customer or recipient circumstances.
  • Re-delivery may incur additional fees and is not guaranteed.
  • Perishable or time-sensitive items may need to be remade, replaced, or substituted and cannot always be recovered or reused.
  • Wine, alcohol, or regulated items may be subject to additional delivery restrictions, age verification, adult signature requirements, or cancellation where delivery cannot be completed.
  • Incorrect or incomplete address information remains the customer’s responsibility.

Perishable and Time-Sensitive Products

Some Pairings products may include perishable, seasonal, temperature-sensitive, or time-sensitive gourmet components. These items are selected and prepared with delivery timing, product condition, and recipient experience in mind.

If a perishable component is unavailable or not suitable for delivery conditions, it may be replaced with an appropriate alternative at Pairings’ discretion to protect quality, presentation, value, and successful delivery.

Pairings is not responsible for deterioration, spoilage, melting, temperature effects, or quality changes caused by incorrect delivery information, recipient unavailability, delayed retrieval, building handling, weather conditions, courier delays, or circumstances outside our control.

Substitutions

Because wine, gourmet products, packaging, seasonal items, perishable items, and third-party branded goods may be subject to availability, substitutions may occasionally be necessary.

When substitutions are made, Pairings aims to maintain the overall balance, quality, presentation, flavour direction, and value of the order. Exact wines, vintages, labels, brands, food items, containers, packaging components, or presentation details are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing by Pairings.

Due to product availability, delivery timing, order volume, alcohol-related requirements, and fulfillment conditions, customers may not always be contacted in advance regarding substitutions.

Alcohol and Regulated Products

Some products or add-ons may include wine, alcohol, or other regulated products where permitted by applicable law. Delivery of alcohol or regulated products is subject to applicable federal, state, local, and other laws depending on the delivery destination.

Age verification, adult signature, recipient availability, eligible delivery address, identification checks, and additional delivery requirements may apply where required.

Failed delivery due to age verification, recipient unavailability, refusal, restricted access, ineligible address, local delivery requirements, or applicable legal restrictions may not be eligible for refund, replacement, credit, or re-delivery.

Pairings reserves the right to cancel, modify, delay, or decline fulfillment of any order involving alcohol or regulated products if legal, regulatory, delivery, age-verification, or operational requirements cannot be satisfied.

Delivery Tracking

After placing an order, customers may use the Pairings order tracking page or order tracking widget to view available delivery updates. Tracking information may vary depending on the delivery method, courier, destination, product type, and where the order is in the fulfillment or delivery process.

Some tracking updates may not appear immediately and may become available only after an order has been processed, prepared, dispatched, or transferred to a delivery partner.

External Factors

Delivery schedules may be affected by circumstances beyond Pairings’ control, including weather conditions, traffic, courier disruptions, carrier delays, labor disruptions, holidays, public emergencies, building access restrictions, security procedures, transportation network issues, regulatory restrictions, supply shortages, product availability issues, or technical interruptions.

Pairings is not responsible for refunds, replacements, credits, delays, failed delivery attempts, or non-delivery caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
